Video is a powerful and effective way to promote your degree programmes, highlight your research, attract collaborators, and enhance your students’ learning. But producing video content can feel intimidating, time-consuming … and expensive.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Do you need a big production?
A long, complex video needs a whole team, from Director to Gaffer. That gets expensive. If that’s what you want — great! I can’t do that for you, but plenty of studios can.
Simple, effective, and affordable.
But maybe it’s not that complicated. You need a video that shows off your people, your results, your programme. It must look and sound professional and appealing … but doesn’t need award-winning effects, professional actors, and a lorry loaded with lighting gear. What it must be is affordable.
That’s where I come in.
I’ll help you work out what you need, script your story, film your people and location, and put it all together into a smooth, engaging final product. And it'll be fun — I’ll make the process stress-free and enjoyable for all involved.

Budgets are tight. I get it. I’ve worked with universities and research groups for decades, I know the financial pressures. I’m nimble, adaptable, and cost-effective. Whatever your budget, we can work something out.

THE BRIEF: 2-3 minute video promoting a new degree or exciting research finding.
THE DETAILS: include 2-3 staff/students • show internal & external shots of the department/lab • on-screen text and graphics, simple animations.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: workshopping ideas and scripting • location scouting • 1 day filming on-location, with pieces-to-camera and b-roll footage • animations, simple effects & text elements • sourcing of extra footage & music • incorporating corporate branding.
COST: £1500 to £3000, depending on complexity of project.
